29 CFR 1910.305(b)(2)(i): Pull boxes, junction boxes, and fittings are not provided with covers approved for the purpose: a) The employer does not ensure that employees are protected from electrical hazards in that the 230v electrical box on the H & A Saws, Inc. manufactured swing cutoff saw is not provided with a cover. This violation was most recently reported to have occurred on October 4, 2016, when employees operated the saw. b) The employer does not ensure that employees are protected from electrical hazards in that the 110v junction box located on the inside of a doorway in the back building storage room is not provided with a cover. This violation was most recently observed on October 12, 2016. c) The employer does not ensure that employees are protected from electrical hazards in that the 110v outlet receptacle located inside the break room of the front building is not provided with a cover. This violation was most recently observed on October 5, 2016. To abate these violations, the employer must ensure that junction boxes, outlet receptacles, and electrical boxes are provided with covers. A & D Wood Products, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1910.305(b)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1093537, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 17, 2015 with respect to a workplace located at 112 Ward Street Elida, Ohio 45807. A & D Wood Products, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1910. 305(b)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 993582, citation number 1, item number 11b and was affirmed as a final order on May 9, 2016 with respect to a workplace located at 112 Ward Street Elida, Ohio 45807.
