29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring; (a) Gold Plane Custom Cabinets, LLC, 11170 Irma Drive, Northglenn, CO 80233: On and before June 13, 2013, the employer used extension cords in lieu of fixed wiring ito power wood working equipment. An extension cord was used to provide electrical power to the Dewalt chop saw located adjacent to the lamination department in lieu of plugging the saw's power cord directling into an outlet. This condition exposed employees to a potential electrical hazard.
