29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service a) Pallet manufacturer: On or about 2/18/2021, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that forklifts being used to move materials and pallets throughout the warehouse and production areas are not being inspected daily for defects prior to being placed in service. Forklift operators work in close proximity to pedestrians moving materials to supply the assemblers
