Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 007 Hazard:

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: a) Fabric calendar machine: On or about November 26, 2018, and at times prior to, several reloadable power taps where daisy chain together to energize equipment including, but not limited to, computers, fans, and cellphones exposing employees to electroshock hazards. b) Fabric calendar machine/conveyor: A relocatable power tap was attached to a machine structure to energized fans that were cooling the rubber coming of the conveyor line. Employees were exposed to electroshocked hazards. Kumho Tire Georgia, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1196140, citation 2, item 2 issued June 6, 2017 and was affirmed as a final order on June 30, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 3051 Kumho Parkway, Macon GA 31216.
