29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B): Unless specifically permitted otherwise in paragraph (g)(1)(ii) of this section, flexible cords and cables may not be used when run through holes in walls, ceilings, or floors: a. Compressor area, employees were exposed to an electrical hazard, in that, the wiring to the compressor air tank water separator was passed through a hole on the metal exterior maintenance shop wall, on or about 03/18/2015. b. At the time clock room, employees were exposed to an electrical hazard, in that, an extension cord was run through the wall to provide power to the beverage machine located outside the room, on about 03/18/2015.
