29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(ii): Flexible cords were not used only in continuous lengths without splice or tap: On or about May 15, 2023, in Department #7(Screw Machine Building, a damaged relocatable power tap (RPT) located at the computer station was being used to power weight scale computer equipment. The RPT had black electrical tape wrapped around it to keep it from falling apart and was electrified from its outside cover exposing employees to electrical shock and fire hazards.
