29 CFR 1910.303(b)(8)(i): Electrical equipment was not firmly secured to the surface on which it was mounted. On or about May 15, 2023, employees were exposed to fire and electrical shock hazards in the following instances: a) In Department #3 Warehouse, Federal Pacific480V Transformer (model 36B Series M) was not secured to the surface it was screwed into a piece of 4x4 wood, but screw was falling out. b) In Department #7 Screw Machine Building, the Acme Model No. TP1A 480V transformer next to the stack roll bars and in front of the machine control panels (D7-7) was not secured to the surface (started to shift to the one side), it needed 6 inches of space behind it but only had approximately 1-inch on left side and 3-inches on right side.
