29 CFR 1910.134(k)(1)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each employee could demonstrate knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of the respirator: (Construction Reference 1926.103) The employer did not ensure that employees required to wear filtering face piece respirators and a half-face elastomeric respirators could demonstrate the knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of the respirators, such as, but not limited to, the limitations of a filtering face piece respirator to protect against organic vapors, and the limitations of a half-face elastomeric respirator to protect against eyes as a route of entry for exposure.
