29 CFR 1926.1101(l)(2): Asbestos waste, scrap, debris, bags, containers, equipment, and contaminated clothing consigned for disposal was not collected and disposed of in sealed, labeled, impermeable bags or other closed, labeled, impermeable containers: At a worksite located at 12650 Manchester Ave, Grandview, MO 64030: The employer is failing to protect employees from the health hazards associated with asbestos. This was demonstrated on or about June 3, 2022, and at times prior to when the employer did not ensure that Class II asbestos-containing materials were consigned for disposal, collected, and disposed of in sealed, labeled, impermeable bags or other closed, labeled, impermeable containers. The employer did not sure ensure that any asbestos waste, scrap, debris, bags, containers, equipment, and contaminated clothing of the demolished materials were properly disposed of. The employer Troy Murdock was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1101(j)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1357388, citation number 1, item number 21 and was affirmed as a final order on June 1, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 137 Hale Liberty, Manhattan, KS 66506.
