29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: Kitty Hawk, NC: On or about October 14, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were trained on the hazards associated with exposure to chemicals such as, but not limited to hydrotreated heavy naphthenic distillates (petroleum) (Highly Refined) 65.7%, tetrachloroethylene 90% and Sodium Dodecylbenzene Sulfonate 5%, while engaging in minor recreational water vehicle patching and touch up maintenance work.
