29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i): Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve: Employees used respirator contaminated with lead. (a) One wipe sample taken on May 3, 2018 showed that the inside of a half-faced respirator stored in a plastic bag in the cable shop was contaminated with lead. VENTURE METALS, LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1077524, CITATION NUMBER 1 ITEM NUMBER 10 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JANUARY 25, 2016, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPALCE LOCATED AT 1970 CROWN ROAD, FARMERS BRANCH, TX 75234.
