29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) 3000 Route 9W, Saugerties NY. - On or about January 21st, 2015 - Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 21 feet in height while engaged in roofing work without the use of a fall arrest system. The employer did not provide a training program for each employee exposed to the fall hazard. Paulo Miranda DBA Madeira Framing Co was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 945369, citation number 1, item number 4b and was affirmed as a final order on 02/10/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 126 High Barner Roadhighrose Ridge in Middletown NY.
