29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iii): Employee training did not include the measures employees can take to protect themselves from chemical hazards, including specific procedures the employer had implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures and personal protective equipment to be used: On or about April 5, 2017 and times prior thereto, at the facility, where employees were operating forklifts and using dollies to transport including but not limited to, Methyl ethyl ketone, chemical hazard communication training was inadequate in that employees were not aware of potential fire hazards and measures to take to protect themselves.
