29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(ix): All lamps for general illumination were not protected from accidental contact or breakage by a suitable fixture or lampholder with a guard: (a) On or about September 16, 2013 the inspection revealed that employees were exposed to serious injury from the fluorescent light inside the cab of the emergency crane that was not protected from accidental contact or breakage. Located at the John Day Dam. The Army Corps of Engineers was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 96892, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 15, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 82925 Devore Road in Umatilla, Oregon.
