29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) On or about 02/27/2020 - 8202 Nantucket Circle, Owens Cross Roads, AL, employees installing 2x4's as steps along the lower gable next to the scaffolding at approximately 16 feet above the ground were not provided fall protection. A&E Masonry, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1240073, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/11/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 68 Summerlyn Way, Owens Cross Roads, AL.
