Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 005 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.28(b)(11)(ii): Each flight of stairs having at least 3 treads and at least 4 risers was not equipped with stair rail systems and handrails as required in Table D-2 of this standard: a. On or about 12/12/2019, at the fabrication area loading door platform, employees were exposed to a fall hazard when gaining access to the platform, in that, two mobile stair ways were permanently installed at the ends of the platform for access which were in disrepair and bent and had a single railing designed for a mobile stairway.
