29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about July 26, 2018, employees engaged in masonry work were not protected from falling, while working along the edge of the deck approximately 25 feet above the ground. Polo Masonry Builders, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1207818, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on May 23, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2450 N. Clybourn Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60614. Polo Masonry Builders, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1073143, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 8, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 2532 W. Irving Park Rd., Chicago, Illinois 606148 No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
