Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 005 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards. JOBSITE: The employees using ladders during roofing activities were not provided with training in the hazards associated with the type of ladder being used or the procedures necessary to eliminate or minimize such hazards. Above All Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard {29 CFR 1926.1060(a)}, which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 907977, Citation Number 01, Item Number 005c, and was affirmed as a final order on 07/24/2013, with respect to a workplace located at Laural Sands Condo's, 1 Seaview Avenue, Bldg "1B", Milford, CT 06460.
