29 CFR 1926.451(f)(6): Scaffolds were erected, used, dismantled, altered, or moved such that they, or any conductive material handled on them, could have come closer than the minimum distances established for specific voltages as set forth in the table in subparagraph (f)(6). a) Jobsite - The employer does not ensure that the metal tubular welded scaffolding is constructed at least 10 feet away from power lines energized 300 volts to 50 kilovolts, exposing employees to contact with electrical hazards. This violation was most recently observed at the property 827 North 26th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19130 on or about 20 MARCH 2017 where employees were performing bricklaying operations from a fabricated frame scaffold that was closer than 10 feet from the energized power lines and service drops. To abate this ongoing violation, the employer must erect his scaffolding more than 10 feet away from energized power lines and service cables. Vyacheslav Leshko dba T&S Masonry, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 963773, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 21 APRIL 2014 with respect to a workplace located at 1532 Manton Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146.
