29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(3)(ii)(B): The employer did not inform employees who performed work under 29 CFR 1926.1101 of the location and quantity of asbestos containing material and/or presumed asbestos containing material present in the area: a) In the Facility, Coke Oven Batteries 1, 2, and 3, on or about February 1 through February 5, 2016, the employer did not inform employees who performed Class III asbestos work removing asbestos containing gasket material, of the location and quantity of asbestos containing material and/or presumed asbestos containing material present in the area. b) In the Facility, South Wharf Area, on or about March 7, 2016, the employer did not inform employees who performed Class III asbestos work on mastic material on a pipe stanchion, of the location and quantity of asbestos containing material and/or presumed asbestos containing material present in the area. United States Steel Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(3)(ii)(B), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314110610, citation number 1, item number 6, and was affirmed as a final order on December 4, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 400 State Street, Clairton, PA 15025.
