29 CFR 1915.89(b): The employers program did not cover procedures for lockout/tags-plus systems while servicing machinery, equipment, or systems: (a) On or about March 31, 2015, the employer did not ensure written energy control procedures were in place for maintenance and electricians who have to regularly service cranes, hoists, brake pressers and bender machines. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards. The Corn Island Shipyard, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1915/89(b) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 941074, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 8, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 8735 Highway 66 East in Grandview, IN.
