29 CFR 1910.1025(l)(1)(ii): The employer did not train each employee who is subject to exposure to lead at or above the action level, or for whom the possibility of skin or eye irritation exists, in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.1025: (a) Martin Foundry Company, Inc. is failing to protect employees by not training each employee who is subject to exposure to lead at or above the action level, in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.1025. This was most recently documented in the following instance: (1) On or about April 24, 2015, an employee was exposed to an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) level of 122 micrograms per cubic meter of lead, which exceeded the OSHA permissible exposure limit of 50 micrograms per cubic meter by 2.4 times and was not trained on the health hazards associated with lead. Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.
