29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): Portable fire extinguishers were not subjected to an annual maintenance check: On or about August 10, 2015, employees were exposed to fire hazards when the fire extinguisher at the gasoline and diesel tanks had not been inspected annually to insure that it functioned properly. Its gauge was not working so there was no way to determine if it was charged. The tank was dull rather than the original shiny red color. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
