29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2): Portable fire extinguishers were not visually inspected at least monthly: On or about August 10, 2015, employees were exposed to fire hazards when the fire extinguisher at the gasoline and diesel tanks had not been inspected to discover that it had a damaged/illegible gauge. It was not possible to determine if the fire extinguisher was charged or would function properly. The canister was worn looking and no longer a bright, shiny, red color. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
