29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not using electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body to be protected and for the work to be performed: A) Centrex Plastics, LLC, doing business as American Plastics, located at 814 W Lima St, Findlay, OH 45840: On or about May 17, 2020, the employer did not ensure that employees, conducting electrical work in the facility, were using proper electrical personal protective equipment for the hands, head, and body. Employees were exposed to 480 volts electrical hazards while conducting activities such as troubleshooting, cleaning, repairing, and replacing electrical components such as, but not limited to, wires for the heaters of the Toshiba Plastic Injection Molding Press # 51 (Model: ISF720SI-59A; Serial # 415705).
