29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1):Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level. Paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section establish the types of fall protection to be provided to the employees on each type of scaffold. Paragraph (g)(2) of this section addresses fall protection for scaffold erectors and dismantlers. Note to paragraph (g)(1): The fall protection requirements for employees installing suspension scaffold support systems on floors, roofs, and other elevated surfaces are set forth in subpart M of this part. On or about August 25, 2022 employees were exposed to a fall hazard while working from a scaffold platform approximately 15 feet above lower ground level without the use of fall protection. Juan Carlos Gonzalez dba JC Gonzalez Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (name previously cited standard), which was contained in OSHA inspection number #1567782, citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on (02/15/2022), with respect to a workplace located at 6860 Verandah Way Irving, TX 75039.
