29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed: (a) 156 West Harrisburg Ave, Elizabethtown, PA; Packaging/Production room - On or about January 14, 2025, the 480VAC MCC had an unused opening at the disconnect switch where the magnetic thermometer was placed on the panel above the bucket labeled "Hays #1 Pocket Valve 5341"; and also at the ground level where the electrical cable leading to the transformers exited the panel. Employees were exposed to an electrical shock hazard. Frozen Food Development and its successors was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.305(b)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1709703, citation number 2, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/13/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 156 West Harrisburg Avenue Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Frozen Food Development was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.305(b)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1558606, citation number 1, item number 11 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/01/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 156 West Harrisburg Avenue Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
