29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): Employee training did not include the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area: (a) On or about May 13, 2024, and at times prior, the employer did not provide training to employees on the physical and health hazards involving welding and grinding on stainless steel and associated hexavalent chromium hazards. An employee was unaware of the physical, health, and respiratory hazard related to welding on stainless steel and subsequent exposure to hexavalent chromium. This condition exposed employees to chemical and respiratory hazards.
