29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Fabrication and painting shops: On or about, March 21, 2023, and at times prior, thereto the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards in that employees were required to use products that contained hazards chemicals such as but not limited to different types of paint, compressed argon and carbon dioxide gases, compressed oxygen gas and compressed acetylene gas. The employer did not provide employees with hazard communications training as required by the standard.
