29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: Goldthread LLC,. 134 Avocado St. Springfield, MA.: On or about August 3, 2022 and at times prior, a flexible extension cord was used on the production line as a substitute for fixed wiring of a structure. The employer did not ensure the proper installation of fixed wiring. Goldthreads, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.305 (g) (1)(iv)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1571865 citation number 1, item number 7 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/01/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 134 Avocado St, Springfield.
