29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a) Worksite: On or about 7/22/2022, employees were not protected from falling while using a ladder that did not extend at least three feet above the upper landing surface. JRO Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1547753, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/29/2021, with respect to a worksite located at 77 Paris Avenue, Worcester, MA 01603.
