29 CFR 1910.134(k)(1): The employer did not provide effective training to ensure that each employee could demonstrate knowledge of 1910.134(k)(1)(i) - (vii): a) At the fabrication shop located at 1138-1 Pondella Road Cape Coral, Florida: On or about October 19, 2022, the employer did not provide training to employees required to wear disposable filtering facepiece respirators such as Lot Fancy - N95, while performing cut and fabrication work. Employees were observed wearing the N95 incorrectly by only using one strap around the head and by having facial hair, conditions that compromised the protective effect of the respirators.
