29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii): The required working space about electric equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was used for storage: (a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent slip/trip or struck-by hazards as demonstrated on or about May 24, 2022, at 209 East 10th St. WestPoint, GA, in front of the electrical panels in the receiving/storage room where employees move and retrieve stock. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure that the area in front of electrical panels is kept clear of merchandise, cardboard boxes, u-boats, plastic bins, and other items. Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1550619, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on March 18, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 2381 Dawes Road, Store 6556, Mobile, AL 36695.
