29 CFR 1926.1051(a):A stairway or ladder shall be provided at all personnel points of access where there is a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more, and no ramp, runway, sloped embankment, or personnel hoist is provided: a) Jobsite located at - 330 Carson St., Philadelphia, PA -The employer did not ensure that employees were provided a safe means to access and egress the 2nd and 3rd floor. The employees utilized the top step of 6 ft. self-supporting ladder to step on a wood platform that was attached to the wall to gain access to the 3rd floor. Condition observed on or about April 21, 2022. The Max Contractors Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1051(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1542892, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on January 7, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 8 Coliseum Drive, EASTAMPTON, NJ 08060.
