29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) Building Exterior: Employees were exposed to a fall hazard while transitioning from an extension ladder to the garage roof of a residential home. The ladder did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface, on or about 10/12/21. The Crystal Contractors, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1535157, citation number 1, item number 1(a) and was affirmed as a final order on 1/3/22, with respect to a workplace located at 162 Edgewood Drive AUDUBON NJ 08106.
