29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) At the facility, 55 West End Rd, Totowa, NJ - (Compounding / Manufacturing area): Employees worked with hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to isopropanol 99%, euxyl PE 9010, and Phosphoric Acid. The employer did not provide the affected employees with effective information and training on the chemicals at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new chemical was introduced into the work area, on or about May 20, 2021. b) At the facility, 55 West End Rd, Totowa, NJ - (Packaging Area): Employees worked with hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to isopropanol 70%. The employer did not provide the affected employees with effective information and training on the chemicals at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new chemical was introduced into the work area, on or about May 20, 2021.
