29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Examination. Electric equipment shall be free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. Safety of equipment shall be determined using the following considerations: 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1)(iv): Electrical insulation; a. On or about November 22, 2019, located outside the front of Press 217, there was an extension cord plugged into a floor fan that had damage to its jacket leaving only the conductor's internal insulation to protect the employees from electrical shock.
