29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: On or about May 22, 2019, at the worksite located at 4806 Castlio Drive, Saint Charles, Missouri, an employee for Cecil Compton Construction, LLC was observed working backwards while using a portable, self-supporting, A-frame ladder to install gutters. The fall distance to the ground below was approximately 7.5 feet. Cecil Compton, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1277838, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on February 02, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 15248 Clayton Road, Ballwin, Missouri 63011.
