29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee with occupational exposure participated in a training program: (a) USPS Parkville 21234 - On or about April 28, 2017, Custodians were included in the employers exposure determination for cleaning up biohazardous spills and the employer did not ensure that they participated in a training program. (b) USPS Parkville 21234 - On or about April 28, 2017, the employer did not provide training for window clerks included in the employers exposure determination. (c) USPS Parkville 21234 - On or about April 28, 2017, the employer did not provide training for management officials included in their exposure determination as being responsible for assessing spills. The U.S Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 881623, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/02/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 1675 7th Street, Oakland, CA 94615. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
