29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a) At the establishment, on or about 4/25/17: Annual inspections of the energy control procedures were not conducted to ensure that the procedures and requirements of the standard were being followed. Servicing and maintenance is performed on various equipment, including, but not limited to mechanical power presses and screw machines. The Crosman Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 283828, citation number 1 item number 5b and was affirmed as a final order on 3/4/13, with respect to a workplace located at 7629 Routes 5 & 20, Bloomfield, NY 14469. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR THIS ITEM.
