29 CFR 1910.304(g)(5): Grounding path. The path to ground from circuits, equipment, and enclosures shall be permanent, continuous, and effective. a. On or about July 06, 2017, in the shipping area, a Triangle Engineering industrial fan, model #PC3613, serial #A16, used for air circulation, was connected to an extension cord that had a missing grounding pin, thereby exposing employees to electrical shock hazards. International Technical Coatings, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.304(g)(5)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1069945 citation number 1, item number 19 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/06/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 845 E. Markison Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215.
