29 CFR 1910.178(a)(6): The user shall see that all nameplates and markings are in place and are maintained in a legible condition: On or about 08 February, 2017, the employer failed to ensure that all Powered Industrial Vehicles used in material handling operations and lifting employees, had the required nameplates and or markings maintained in a legible condition. Nameplates were covered up with stickers and other non-related papers. This exposed employees to a struck by hazard. Abatement is not required for this item.
