29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): Each employee on a scaffold, not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower level was not protected from falls by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section. On or about January 18, 2017 the employer did not ensure that standard guardrails or other suitable fall protection were used when working on scaffolding used for plastering operations. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards above 10 feet. JF Plastering was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 854004, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/25/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 14441 Jacinto Ramos Ave., El Paso, TX 79938. JF Plastering was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 477458, citation number 02, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/13/2012, with respect to a workplace located at Canutillo Palms, Bldg. 32, El Paso, TX 79835.
