29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment is not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: Employees working in the Fabrication shop are exposed to electrical shocks and burns because metal outlet boxes with knockouts are used on the end of flexible cords and the employer fails to ensure that electrical equipment is used in accordance with its listing and labeling requirements. This violation was last observed on September 6, 2016, in the Fabrication shop. To abate this violation, the employer ensure that all electrical equipment is used in accordance with its labeling and listing requirements. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit documents describing the steps it is taking to ensure compliance, including a copy of the site-specific program detailing the procedures used to ensure compliance and training of employees. I-80 Equipment, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1068975, citation number 1, item number 21/a, and was affirmed as a final order on June 30, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at120 Walnut Ln. in Colona, IL.
