29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(1)(iii): The employer did not use work practices in all operations covered by 29 CFR 1926.1101, regardless of the levels of exposure, in the form of prompt clean-up and disposal of wastes and debris contaminated with asbestos, in leak-tight containers: a) In the Facility, Coke Oven Batteries 1, 2, and 3, on or about February 1 through February 5, 2016, the employer did not perform prompt clean-up and disposal of wastes and debris contaminated with asbestos in leak-tight containers. United States Steel Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(1)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314110610, citation number 1, item number 3c, and was affirmed as a final order on December 4, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 400 State Street, Clairton, PA 15025.
