29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Throughout facility: The employer did not provide effective information and training to employees for the hazardous chemicals used on site, including, but not limited to, DCT Heavy Duty Degreaser, a corrosive chemical, Quick Clean Broad Range Quaternary Sanitizer and Spic and Span, on or about 10/5/15. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19. South Jersey Central Manufacturing Location dba SJ CML was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1007939, Citation Number 2, Item Number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/18/15 with respect to a workplace located at 130 Benigdo Blvd, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
