29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. On 7/15/15, in the production area employees were exposed to hazards of moving and rotating parts and pinch points at the following locations: a - Melting Kettle #1 b - IBL 3 Melting Kettle c - Blenders 3 and 4 d - IBL 3 C-Depositor e - DAF tank chain and sprocket in Waste Water No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item. Schwan Global Supply Chain, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 941314, citation number 1, item number 18 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/27/14, with respect to a workplace located at 1 Lemon Lane, Atlanta, Georgia.
