29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who was exposed to fall hazards that enabled each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) Mary Lane, Springside at Robbinsville, Robbinsville, NJ: On or about July 16, 2015, High Quality Builders, Inc., employees were conducting framing activities without proper use of fall protection. Workers were using the second story wall top plate as their walking/working surface while setting roof trusses. The employees were exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 20 feet to the ground below. The employer did not train the employees exposed to fall hazards to recognize the hazard and the procedures to minimize these hazards. High Quality Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1057314, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/6/15, with respect to a workplace located at 1 Sunset Drive Tinton Falls, NJ 07724 NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
