29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: Location: 13 Pembroke Road, Danbury, CT 06811 The Little Giant type ladder did not extend at least three feet above the top plate of the wall where employees were accessing the eave of the roof. Almeida Homes & Carpentry LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315555722, citation number 1, item number 3, issued on 8/4/2011 with respect to a workplace located at North Lake Shore Road in Brookfield, CT, and became a final order on 8/26/2011.
