Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 003C Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iii): The measures employees can take to protect themselves from these hazards, including specific procedures the employer has implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures, and personal protective equipment to be used; and, (a) Production Area: Employees who worked with hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to Portland Cement, Krylon spray paints and Daubert Adhesives, were not advised of specific procedures, work practices and emergency procedures to protect themselves from the hazards of the chemicals with which they worked, on or about March 26, 2013. Di-Ferraro Inc., dba Totowa Concrete Products was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312861842, citation number 1, item number 2d and was affirmed as a final order on February 3, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 28 Burgess Place, Wayne, New Jersey.
